We offer a
variety of services
including landscape design, plants
(trees, shrubs, perennials), hardscapes (walls, walkways, and
patios), reworking of contours, hauling in new soil, edging, and
mulching (hardwood, cypress, pebbles, etc). Our designs are based
on your favorite plants, and each one is developed in consultation
with you, the customer.
Despite
the lush bluegrass we are accustomed to seeing in this area, we
have all experienced the challenges of growing plants in the compacted
subsoils covered by a thin veneer in developed property in the region.
So whether you need landscaping for new construction, renovation
of an older landscape, or a patio garden or perennial bed, we can
give you the best possible landscape
for the lowest price.
Free
estimates.
We offer free consultations at your convenience with absolutely
no obligation on your part. We hope that you will like our ideas
and realize the good value and service we can provide.
One service
we offer that you wont find from most other providers is our
after-care plan. We offer routine
followup care, a 6-month check-up to make sure
your landscape is healthy and meets your needs. We also provide
written care instructions for all plants from our care
database developed specifically for our area. We also have a comprehensive
guarantee.
One advantage
of being a smaller, family-owned company is our
flexibility. If you want, we can build your landscape
in stages (such as putting in the larger trees and shrubs first,
more later) in order to fit your needs and your budget.
What
we will do:
Following our
site visit, we will provide you with a written
estimate and sketch of the finished project, plus an
estimate of how the long the job will take and when it can begin.
What
we ask you to do:
We do ask that
prior to the time at which we start a job, you call to have your
utilities marked (we don't want to cause you the inconvenience and
repair costs of a ruptured water line or severed cable). In fact,
Kentucky State Law (KRS 367.4901 to 367.4917) requires that you
call two business days before you dig in the state of Kentucky.
In Lexington,
KY, and the surrounding area you can call the
"BUD" line (Before
You Dig). The number to call is 1-800-752-6007.
This
is a free service, and they can provide you with a list of utility
companies that are members of their service. (For
utilities not included in their membership, you will have to contact
the company directly). For more information,
go to the Kentucky Underground Protection Center at
http://www.kyunderground.com.
